Keep Your Mosh Jewelry Magical: Easy Care Tips!

We love creating beautiful resin jewelry inspired by nature, and we want you to enjoy it for years to come! Here are some simple tips to keep your Mosh pieces looking their best:

Be Gentle:

  • Avoid bumping or scratching your jewelry, and take it off before sleeping.
  • If your piece gets a little ding, don't worry! Just send us a picture and we can advise you on repair options.

Water Woes:

  • Remember, resin is water resistant, not waterproof. Take off your jewelry before showering, swimming, or doing dishes.

Sun Shine:

  • Keep your Mosh pieces out of direct sunlight for long periods. Too much sun can make the resin fade or soften.

Chemical Caution:

  • Harsh chemicals can damage the resin. Avoid contact with perfume, hairspray, cleaning solutions, and hand sanitizer.

Silver Shine:

  • Some of our pieces feature silver accents. These can tarnish over time, but they usually polish up beautifully with the included cloth!
  • Important: Don't use the polishing cloth on the resin part of your piece.

Earring Extras:

  • Resin earrings are delicate. Keep them away from chemicals, heat, and long water exposure.
  • For dangle earrings, you might be able to remove the resin part for cleaning. Otherwise, use a damp cotton swab with hot water or hydrogen peroxide (avoiding the resin).

Whoops! I Forgot:

  • Accidents happen! If your piece gets damaged, scratched, or dulled, let us know. We can offer repairs or remakes at a fair price.

Extra Shine (Optional):

  • If your piece gets a little dull (not yellowed), you can try applying a top coat with UV nail polish (with a UV lamp to cure). Ask us first! We can always remove it if needed.

Yellowing:

  • Heavy exposure to smoke can make resin yellow over time. If this happens, your piece might need a remake.

By following these simple tips, you can keep your Mosh Jewelry looking magical and enjoying its beauty for a lifetime!
